Sussex Funeral Services

The brief

Sussex Funeral Services looks after families in Brighton and Hove. People usually contact a funeral director at a difficult time, and many have never been inside a funeral home before. The aim was to let families see the premises quietly and in their own time, so they feel more at ease before they visit.

What we shot

We photographed the funeral homes in 360° as bracketed HDR panoramas and linked the scenes into walk-through tours. The shoot was planned with care and discretion, and the panoramas are calm and evenly lit, with detail kept in both the brighter and darker parts of each room. Visitors can move through the spaces at their own pace and look in any direction.

Where it’s used

Our tours are published to Google Maps, where they appear on the business listing when people search for a funeral director, and the same tours can be embedded on the firm’s own website. For a family making arrangements, seeing the rooms in advance removes one uncertainty at a hard time. Philip Evans of Sussex Funeral Services said: “Charles came to take StreetVisit photos of our business… fantastic!
