360° product photography

360° product photography for ecommerce

A product spin lets shoppers pick it up, turn it round and look closely, online. We shoot on a calibrated turntable and deliver a lightweight interactive viewer that works on any product page.

How it works

Each product is photographed in dozens of frames through a full rotation, with consistent lighting and a clean background, then assembled into a smooth, zoomable spin. The camera and lights stay fixed while the turntable moves, so every frame matches the one before it and the spin turns without jumps or flicker.

What’s included

An interactive spin for each product, ready to embed, and still hero shots taken in the same session: a clean front view for your listing and close-ups of the details customers ask about. Every product is checked for dust, marks and fingerprints before it goes on the turntable, and each spin is edited so the background stays clean all the way round.

How a shoot runs

We start with your product list and how each item should look: open or closed, with or without packaging, and which side the customer should see first. We then plan the order of the shoot so similar products are photographed together under the same light. That keeps a whole range consistent, so a customer comparing two products sees the same angles, the same background and the same colour.

Turnaround

Spins and stills are edited after the shoot and delivered together. For a larger range we agree a delivery schedule when we book, and we can hand over finished products in batches, so the first spins can go live while the rest are still being processed.

Where the spins get used

Spins embed in Shopify, WooCommerce and custom sites, on the product page where shoppers decide whether to buy. The stills from the same session work on marketplaces, in email campaigns, on social media and in print, so one shoot covers your whole catalogue.

Volume shoots

We photographed over 130 pairs of glasses for The Specky Wren, a Brighton optician, so customers could choose glasses online during lockdown. Customers could turn each frame round on the shop’s website and shortlist at home before an appointment.

Pricing

Quoted per shoot; ask for a quote. Tell us roughly how many products you have, what they are and where the spins will be used, and we will come back with a price for the shoot.

Questions

What kinds of products work best as a 360° spin?

Anything customers want to pick up and look at closely before they buy: glasses, jewellery, shoes, bags, homeware and gifts. Shape, finish and small details are exactly what a spin shows better than a single photo. Very shiny or clear products need more care with lighting, and we plan for that before the shoot.

Will a spin slow down my product page?

The viewer is built to be lightweight, and the frames are sized for the web rather than for print. It works on phones as well as desktops.

Do I get ordinary product photos as well?

Yes. We take still hero shots in the same session, so you have matching images for listings, marketplaces and social media without booking a second shoot.

How many products can you shoot?

Anything from a single product to a full range. For The Specky Wren we photographed more than 130 frames, and a larger range is planned in batches so the results stay consistent from the first product to the last.
