St Luke’s Swimming Pool

The brief

St Luke’s is a historic public swimming pool in Brighton. Its character is part of its appeal, and new swimmers often want to know what to expect before they visit: where to go, what the pool looks like and how the building feels. The aim was to let people look around from home.

What we shot

We photographed the pool in 360° as bracketed HDR panoramas. Pools are hard to photograph well, with bright windows, reflections on the water and tiled surfaces, and blending several exposures for each scene keeps detail across all of them. The panoramas were linked into a walk-through tour that visitors can move around, turning to look in any direction.

Where it’s used

Our tours are published to Google Maps, where they appear on the pool’s listing when people search for it, and the same tour can be embedded on the operator’s website. For a public pool, that helps first-time swimmers, families and school groups arrive knowing their way around.
