Kate Langdale Florist

The brief

Kate Langdale runs a florist’s shop in Brighton. A florist’s shop is colourful and full of detail, and a single photo on a listing rarely does it justice. The aim was to let customers look around the shop online before they visit or place an order.

What we shot

We photographed the shop in 360° as bracketed HDR panoramas. Blending several exposures for each scene keeps the colour of the flowers accurate and holds detail from the brightest parts of the shop to the darker corners. The panoramas were linked into a walk-through tour, so visitors can move around the shop and look in any direction, much as they would if they were standing inside.

Where it’s used

Our tours are published to Google Maps, where they sit on the business listing and show up when people search for the shop, and the same tour can be embedded on the shop’s own website. For a small independent business, that gives the shop a presence in search that matches what customers find when they arrive. It is one of many local shops we have photographed across Brighton & Hove, alongside tailors, cafés and offices in the city.
