Cad & The Dandy

The brief

Cad & The Dandy is a Savile Row tailor, and this project covered its Castle Court premises in the City of London. A tailor sells craft and atmosphere as much as cloth, and a single photo on a listing rarely shows either. The aim was to let customers look around the premises before they walk in.

What we shot

We photographed the Castle Court premises as bracketed HDR panoramas. Each scene is a blend of several exposures, so detail holds in both the bright and the darker parts of the room and colours stay true to life, which matters when the product is fabric. The panoramas were then linked into a walk-through tour that people can move around at their own pace, looking in any direction from each point.

Where it’s used

Our tours are published to Google Maps, where they sit on the business listing and appear when people search for the business, and the same tour can be embedded on the client’s own website. For a City business, that means someone searching on the way to a meeting can see inside before deciding to call in. It is a small project, but it follows the same process as our larger London virtual tours for venues, brands and theatres.
