The brief
The Mermaid Inn on Mermaid Street is one of England’s most historic inns. Its character is its selling point, and it is hard to convey in flat photos: dark timber, low ceilings and rooms full of history.
The work
We shot the inn in bracketed HDR so the detail in the beams and the light from the leaded windows both hold, and published the panoramas to Google Maps alongside a set of interior stills.
Why it matters
Historic hotels sell an experience. Letting guests look around the bar, the restaurant and the bedrooms before booking turns curiosity into reservations.
