Are you getting the most from your Rightmove listing?

Rightmove is where UK buyers start, and most listings still use a fraction of what the portal allows. Photos, a floor plan and a description are the minimum. The listings that stand out use the virtual tour slot properly.

Use the virtual tour tab for a real tour

Many “virtual viewings” are a slideshow or a quick handheld video. An interactive 360° tour lets buyers move from room to room at their own pace, look up at the ceilings and out of the windows, and come back to it as often as they like. Add a floor plan with a “you are here” marker and hotspots on the features that sell the home, and the tour does much of the first viewing for you.

Let the tour filter your viewings

Buyers who have already walked through a home online and still want to see it are serious. Vendors get fewer disruptive viewings, and negotiators spend their time where it counts.

Check the map and Street View

Two small problems catch out a lot of listings:

  • The map pin is in the wrong place, so the Street View image shows a neighbour’s house or the wrong street.
  • The pin is right but the view isn’t, showing a side entrance or a parked van rather than the front of the house.

Both are worth checking before a listing goes live. For new builds, where Street View has no imagery yet, we can capture the approach and publish it to Google Maps.

The short version

A good tour is the cheapest way to make a listing look better than the one above it. See our property virtual tours or get in touch.
